After completing an initial sketch I transferred this image on a non-flexible board
I am experimenting with different types of joint compound on a board as opposed to non-flexible modeling paste
Almost ready for painting. Need to add more details and leaves after this layer is completely dry. I use two types of joint compound: one is very spongy and harder to sculpt; one is more the consistency of modeling paste. So far only minor cracking as it dries.
Still laying bricks...I have never been this immersed in a painting. Thought this would be monotonous, but there is something therapeutic about building this structure brick by brick.
